Blogs, podcasts and social networks are hot topics for communicators these days. But how many of us are really aware of the rules of engagement with the 60 million strong new media? How do you pitch a blogger? Or should you even pitch them at all? How do you monitor blogs and podcasts? Who do you pay attention to and who do you ignore? Our panel of bloggers, media and blogging media will share best practices for engaging in this new space. Join us for a discussion of what does and what doesn't work for bloggers and where the similarities between mainstream media and social media begin and end.

Note: Presentation and hors d’œuvres included with cost of admission.

Through the support of Toronto Hydro, the first ten student members registered will receive free admission to the event.
