CPRS Toronto and Palette PR are pleased to present public relations, social media and technology guru, Giovanni Rodriguez. Rodriguez will illuminate how PR can thrive in the somewhat overwhelming world of social media. Drawing on his expertise, Rodriguez will explore the integration of PR and participatory media into the traditional marketing mix, look at some of the industry’s challenges and successes and explain why public relations is poised to do well in the post social-media era.
Giovanni Rodriguez is a noted consultant, author, and speaker on public relations and corporate leadership. He is chairman and co-founder of The Conversation Group, a global consultancy devoted to the art, science, and practical application of social media, working with brands as diverse as Visa, MSN, Ogilvy, and global-software giant SAP.
A popular speaker on the social-media circuit, Giovanni has instigated an ongoing debate about the future of the PR profession. His work and opinion have been featured in numerous publications including PRWeek, Brandweek, BusinessWeek and Forbes. He is research fellow at the Society for New Communications Research, and a graduate of Princeton University.
